25 year old Aussie - Chris Hemsworth has been cast to play the lead role in "Thor", the film version of the Marvel Comics character. The movie will hit theaters in May 2011.
The hottie from down-under has recently been seen in the new "Star Trek" movie as James T. Kirk's dad.
According to Variety, Hemsworth will also play Thor in the "Avengers" movie in 2012.
